INTRODUCTION: COURSE PREPARATION

  

You will receive a pre-course package which includes:

• A thorough questionnaire to assess your personal pranayama goals

• The complete Pranayama Course Manual

• A copy of my new book "Control the Breath / Control the Mind"

• Full access to the student-only "Seven-Day Pranayama Course" video library

By completing our questionnaire, you'll help us identify the program that best suits your needs, ensuring optimal conditions for your success.

DAY ONE: PRIVATE SESSION

  

The first of seven consecutive days begins with our one-on-one, forty-minute Zoom conference and class. During this session:

• We discuss your intentions and challenges

• We co-create a personalized pranayama program that fits your daily life

• We review foundational techniques to ensure confidence and clarity

• We develop a personalized breath-work "day planner" to chart your progress

DAY TWO: ON TARGET TEXTS

  

Now that we are underway, you will receive full text support each day:

• You receive a text message ten minutes before your scheduled practice time

• You'll return the text confirming you're "good to go." If you don’t respond, you’ll get a follow-up call. (And if you ignore that? Straight to jail. Kidding… mostly.) 

• If needed, we can adapt and adjust your schedule because flexibility ensures consistency

• This system holds us both accountable and committed to your success, and accountability is key!

DAY THREE: PROGRESS ASSESSMENT

  

This is a pivotal day! Once day three is successfully completed, we are set. We'll have our second Zoom conference and class, a fifteen-minute "check-in" where we:

• Review your progress

• Refine techniques and make sure you're confident in your new pranayama breathing techniques

• Clarify any aspects of your program as necessary

• Ensure we have a solid foundation on which to build your practice

• Answer questions and evaluate your results

DAY FOUR: GOING STRONG

  

Now that we have established your pranayama breathing practice, we continue with our daily check-in text support. By day four:

• We have real momentum

• You're becoming comfortable with your newly established practices

• By now, many students experience tangible shifts in physical, mental, and emotional well-being

• You'll start to see more direct results in your day-to-day life

• Daily text supports continue — I've got your back every step of the way

DAY FIVE: THE QUIZ!

Along with text support, today includes a brief review and a self-reflective quiz to help prepare for the final exam. At this point:

• You will have acquired a body of experiential knowledge

• The quiz helps demonstrate your growing mastery of pranayama principles and skills

DAY SIX: FINE TUNING & DEEPENING

  

The theme for day six is "Follow-through." After five days of consistent practice:

• The practice itself becomes the teacher

• You are able to start refining the techniques

• The teachings take you deeper into the true nature of the breath

• You realize that follow-through is an inherent part of the practice — even for advanced students

DAY SEVEN: COMPLETION

  

This day is both an end and a beginning. As we used to say in the ashram, "The flame has been passed." This simply means that you have received these ancient teachings that have been safeguarded for thousands of years. How you choose to use them is up to you.

After completing your pranayama practice for the day:

• It's time for your final exam and a final review of the results

• We address the full integration of your newly established practice into your long-term routine

• You receive a Certificate of Completion 

• Our seven-day journey together is complete

 Anyone who is not fully satisfied with the course can request and will receive a full refund. 


Currently Joseph Salamon is the only fully trained and licensed course coach and advisor. If you sign up before January 1st, he will be your personal  breath-work  advisor and coach. There are future coaches and advisors currently in training. 


While not ideal, one on one consultation, progress and integration meetings can be conducted by phone if you prefer. Being able to provide the student with recorded ZOOM sessions is a valuable asset however. 


Once the course is scheduled, a $40.00 rescheduling fee is required to change the date.


Additional assistance is available at no extra charge, when needed. However, certain circumstances may require substantial additional assistance, which will be billed separately and determined on a case-by-case basis.
